Platinum is one of the rarer elements in earth’s crust. Because of its scarcity, it’s a highly valuable precious metal. Platinum is one of the least reactive metals, with remarkable resistance to corrosion. Pure platinum is a lustrous, ductile silver-white metal, its resistance to wear and tarnish is well suited to use in fine jewellery.
Goldsmith, Tim Coote has extensive expertise working with platinum, a unique metal to work in which requires high precision. Tim took on the challenge early in his career and has created many stunning engagement rings, dress rings and other fine jewellery in platinum.
